HONORABLE ORDER OF KENTUCKY COLONELS 

AWARD 333 GRANTS TOTALING $2.5 MILLION

A New Beginning for Women and Children AN HONORED 2025 RECIPIENT

Mayfield, KY – A New Beginning for Women and Children is proud to announce it received a grant from the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels (HOKC) in the amount of $2750 to purchase supplies (rubber mulch, sand, concrete) for the base of our playground 

On May 10th Mayfield Lions club sponsored The Battle of the Badges Charity Softball game. The game was hosted by the City Badges of the Mayfield Police and Fire Departments against the county badges of the Graves County Jail and Sheriff's Office. As a result of the generosity of the people of Mayfield and Graves County who attended the game, a check for $1,000 was presented to A New Beginning.

 On May 1st we hosted our "Thurby" Thursday 3rd Annual Giving Gala. We were blown away by all the local support we received from the businesses and individuals that sponsored a table, donors of silent and live auction items, all our attendees, the staff at Whippoorwill Manor, and the staff/women at ANB. With the generosity of raised funds, we are able to buy the flooring for our 1st Aftercare hous
